What's on this page is what you pay. Pick-up and return is included. No "$X + GST" pricing games, and no add-ons invented after the job.
The prices published here exclude GST — the 15% is added at checkout. So nothing is hidden, the booking form always shows the GST-inclusive total before you confirm a job, and pick-up and return is in the price either way.
Why we show GST-inclusive prices
Under the Fair Trading Act, the price you advertise to consumers has to be the price they pay — clear, accurate and without hidden extras. So we show the real number.

Trade and fleet customers often work in GST-exclusive prices, so this page can publish them that way. The booking form, the estimate and the job sheet always show the GST-inclusive total with the 15% GST inside it set out separately, so what a customer pays is never in doubt.

Service, then vehicle size
Two vehicle classes, the same on every job: Small Car (like a Mazda 2) and Car or SUV under 7 seats. Find the service you want and read across. If we think your car sits in the other class when we see it, we tell you the price before we take the keys.

Work we price per car, not per list
Some jobs depend entirely on what we find. Send a photo or bring the car past, we quote it, and nothing starts until you say yes. No number on this page is a surprise at pick-up.

What's already included
These aren't optional extras at Crystal Car Valet — they're part of every job:
- Pick-up and return, free across Wellington, Porirua and the Hutt Valley
- A walk-around with you before and after, with the odometer noted
- Keys logged in and out, and stored securely while we have the car
- Insured driving of your vehicle between your address and our workshop
- Interior dried properly, not left damp (a Wellington mould problem waiting to happen)
- Water-based, low-runoff washing within the current water restriction level
What's not included
We'd rather say it now than surprise you:
- Heavy soiling, mould, vomit, smoke or biohazard work — quoted before we start, always. Nothing is added afterwards without your agreement.
- Paint correction beyond a machine buff — deep scratches, sanding marks and heavy oxidation. Ask for a quote with photos.
- Dents, rust, tears and trim damage — cleaning doesn't fix panel or upholstery damage, and we'll point it out rather than hide it.
- Ceramic coating — we'll tell you honestly if it's worth it for your car and how you use it, then quote it on application.
- Mobile service at your place — +$49 within 10 km of the CBD. Pick-up instead is free.
Vehicle size disputes
If the car turns out to be in the other class from what was booked (a seven-seater, a van, a vehicle loaded with gear), we'll tell you the correct price before we take the keys. You can always say no.
Fleet, business or courtesy cars
Running more than one vehicle? We do scheduled detailing for small fleets, rental and courtesy cars across Wellington, with invoices, a fixed monthly price per vehicle, and pick-up runs that fit around your bookings.
Tell us the number of vehicles, where they're parked and how often you want them done.
